On Tuesday, September 25, Sarah and Holly were riding on the 4 wheeler and were at the end of the road when they saw a bull moose.  They were as surprised to see him as he was to see them.  They came right back to tell us about it so we got a car load of people and cameras and went to see it, but he was gone.  We were all so disappointed.

Then on Wednesday, September 26, Larry and I had the thrill of seeing a bull moose over by the Spring Cabin.  I  was just coming out of the Spruce Cabin and Larry was coming towards me and he said "Kath, look a moose."  He watched us for quite awhile then swung his head turned and walked into the woods.  What a fun experience, I was only 30 feet from him.  The rest of the day we keep looking for him and tried to keep the camera near.  We heard  him a few times but never saw him again.  I think it was probably the same one that Sarah and Holly saw.
